Flexible Rental Options at The Urban Ashram

Choose the structure that best supports the kind of experience you want to create—whether your event is private, curated, community-building, or collaborative.

1. Private Space Rental

Maximum privacy. Maximum control. No member access.

Ideal for private sessions, closed groups, or facilitators who want a simple, predictable rental with no additional visibility.

Rate: $55/hour

Member Access: None

Payment Schedule:

• 50% due at booking

• 50% due one week before the event

2. Curated Experience Rental

Intimate. Intentional. Participant-focused.

Fewer member spots allow you to maintain a more private, curated container while still offering minimal community access.

Rate: $45/hour

Member Access: 2 complimentary spots for TUA members

Payment Schedule:

• 50% due at booking

• 50% due one week before the event

3. Community Energy Rental

Fuller rooms. Better energy. Built-in visibility.

Opening more spots to members helps cushion attendance uncertainty, creates richer group energy, expands access to your work, and often leads to future paying participants.

Rate: $35/hour

Member Access: 8 complimentary spots for TUA members

Payment Schedule:

• 50% due at booking

• 50% due one week before the event

4. Collaborative Revenue Share

No upfront cost. Shared success.

Perfect if you’d rather not pay in advance and want to partner with TUA in the outcome of your event.

Split: Facilitator 80% / TUA 20% of ticket revenue

Member Benefit: TUA members receive $20 off your regular ticket price

• The open space is 15 ft wide by 30 ft long 

• Movement-based event capacity: 20 people on yoga mats

• Seated event capacity: 40 people

• Facilitators may arrive 30 minutes before and stay 30 minutes after their event for setup and cleanup (this grace time is not charged)

• Facilitators are responsible for resetting the space using a provided checklist

• You are welcome to use our 10 yoga mats, 4 bolsters, 13 blankets, 16 yoga blocks, 7 cushions, 15 cushioned exercise mats (6ft long), and 15 chairs

• The speaker system is available and works via Bluetooth

Ongoing Classes

We welcome recurring events and classes with the following availability:

• Weekly classes are available Monday through Friday before 4:00 PM

• All other times (evenings and weekends) must be scheduled on a bimonthly or monthly basis

TUA offers promotional support, but facilitators are expected to take the lead in promoting their offerings.

If your event is public, it will likely be promoted through:

• The Urban Ashram website

• TUA Member Portal

• Meetup

• Instagram and Facebook

• Our email newsletter

• Our WhatsApp community group

Note:

• You’re welcome to design and distribute your own flyers or cards

• A printed flyer can be posted at the ashram on our bulletin board

We understand that plans change. Please communicate as early as possible if you need to cancel. We might be able to work out a way for someone else to fill in.

If you cancel less than 2 weeks before your event:

• Flat Rate Rentals: 50% deposit is non-refundable

• Revenue Share Events: A $15/hour cancellation fee applies for the length of the event

• No refunds are provided if no one signs up for your event

• Liability insurance is encouraged but not required

• A participant waiver system is being implemented and will be managed by TUA
